Sydney Vaulting Group
 Sydney Vaulting Group is based at Oakville, 1 hour northwest of Sydney CBD via the M2 or M7. We train and compete in the sport of Equestrian Vaulting and SVG welcomes both competitive and recreational vaulters. SVG has been represented at the ENSW Interschools Championships, State, National and International level. All vaulters are required to be members of Equestrian Australia, or an EA Affiliated Club. Adults and children of all abilities can enjoy learning to perform gymnastic moves on the back of a cantering horse. Improve your riding skills, balance and co-ordination whilst having fun.
 
Vaulting is gymnastics on the moving horse. It combines equestrian skills with the athletic benefits of gymnastics. Anyone can do it, no matter what level. Group lessons by EA NCAS Vaulting Coaches and experienced horses enable you to enjoy this unique sport in a safe environment. You will you improve your riding skills and fitness, and the lessons include caring for the horse and preparation for competition.
Competive vaulting is judged on the smooth and correct execution of a set of compulsory exercises and a freestyle program performed in harmony with the horse. Vaulting routines include strength, flexibility and endurance training. In addition to vaulting on horses we use a vaulting barrel to develop and perfect moves.
